My Film-making Journey
It all started when I got my hands on my mother’s iPhone at the age of 9.
By the time I was in middle school, I was directing, editing, and writing scripts for short films. I explored genres like murder mystery, thriller, horror, and comedy. It was all play and friends and family had little choice but to help breathe life into my visions. With little to no opportunity to learn about storytelling and film in Hanoi, Vietnam, I taught myself the basics of directing, editing, and scriptwriting through trial and error.
At 17, I finally found a community of like-minded individuals at the TPD Cinema Talent Development Support Center- a transformative experience that bolstered my love for visual storytelling. I have since completed a documentary film course and worked on a documentary and a fiction project.
The joy of storytelling and the power of bringing ideas to life on screen is what I love to do. My desire to expand my skills and deepen my understanding of society and art through film is what drives me.
